i get what you're saying but everyone is doing this. the market is tricky. and a lot of people are asking their friends, people they network with - do you know anyone hiring or can you introduce me to someone? most people want to help but there is 0 chance i will comb through my network every time. i gotta eat. so, this doc is to reverse that process. some are not willing to do the work and then make it easy for their friends and network to help them. those that do, haev more chance. finding out who the hiring manager is or could be is one of the easiest things in the world to do. but it requires just a tiny bit more work than hitting an easy apply button.
